Congratulations to these FFA students and teams for earning awards at the Southern District FFA contests at Magnolia and qualifying for state FFA contests: Taylor Key: 1st place FFA Creed speaking; Megan Maye: 1st place Extemporaneous Speaking; FFA Opening & Closing Team, 1st place: David Runyon, Hannah Bell, BJ Schuller, Chris Gorden, Courtani McCauley, Cheyenne Anderson, Lane Pounds, Andrew Coburn, & Jordan Reuter; Electricity Team, 1st place: Derek Cox, Dustin Higby, Jared Williams, & Michael Berry; Parliamentary Procedure team, 2nd place: Megan Maye, Leigha Smith, Smith Harrison, Rachel Collins, Chelsea Anderson, & Megan Cooper; Ag. Mechanics team, 3rd place: Dustin Grey, Tate Prebius, Bradley Busch, & John Henderson. Dustin Grey was 1st overall high individual.

Mission Statement

The primary purpose of education is to prepare an individual to be a thinker, capable of making necessary decisions. Individuals must learn their own worth and the worth of their associates and appreciate the value of each. Individuals must contribute to society and assume a responsible role in a democratic community.
